Program Admission:

Admission to the Esthetics Technology Program requires a separate program application, and acceptance to the College does not guarantee admission to the program. Program admission requirements include unconditional admission to LBW Community College, good standing with the College, and successful completion of an Esthetics Program Application. New students who declare Esthetics as their intended program of study will receive the application directly via email. Current students may apply by logging into myLBWCC and completing the Esthetics Program Application on the Program Applications card.

In addition to basic student information, the program application includes the following requirements:

• A minimum of two (2) documented shadowing hours (see Shadowing Form below)
• Unofficial transcripts for any prior college attendance, if applicable
• Copies of any related licenses (e.g., cosmetologist), if applicable

Shadowing hours must be conducted with a licensed esthetician. Applicants are responsible for contacting their selected esthetician to confirm shadowing availability. Applicants may contact Kelly Weeks at kweeks@lbwcc.edu or 334-493-5326 for a list of suggested estheticians.

The deadline for Fall 2026 applications is May 31, 2026. We encourage you to complete the application promptly as space in the program is limited and an interview process must be completed prior to entry. We currently anticipate holding interviews during the week of June 8, 2026, and will provide additional details to program applicants.
