Fall 8-Week Classes Available

Although the Fall 2021 semester at Lurleen B. Wallace Community College is well underway, there are still opportunities to register for a variety of classes offered during an 8-week term. This 8-week term begins on Monday, October 13, and ends on December 16, at the same time as the full 16-week courses. Students completing courses during these compressed, eight-week terms will receive the same amount of credit that they would for full-term courses.

LBWCC has scheduled 10 classes during this 8-week schedule, most of which are offered online. The courses include college transferable general education courses in subjects ranging from Ethics to Western Civilization as well as courses required for certificates such as Industrial Electronics and Welding.

Returning students may register in person at any of LBWCC’s four locations, or they can register online through MyLBWCC OneACCS.

New students must apply for admission online by following instructions found at www.lbwcc.edu/admissions.

Students can apply for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at www.fafsa.gov (LBWCC School Code is 008988). Students should contact the Financial Aid Office 2 days after submitting their FAFSA online. It can take up to 10 days or more for LBWCC to process your Financial Aid Application. If you do not complete your Financial Aid process in time, be prepared to pay tuition, fees, and books with cash or credit card.

For more information, contact Tori Norris at 334-881-2215 or tnorris@lbwcc.edu.
