Little Saints Preschool at LBW Community College in Andalusia is holding an open house for children and their parents on Aug. 23.
The preschool, located within LBWCC’s Child Development Center near Dream Park in Andalusia, is under the direction of Danita Day.
“We will have a morning session from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., and an afternoon session 2-4 p.m.,” said Day. “This is an opportunity for parents and children to come by and register, or obtain information about the facilities, requirements for registration, and meet the director and student teachers.”
Little Saints Preschool is currently accepting applications for fall semester and invite parents to bring their child, age 3 to 5, to the open house to get a feel for the environment, she said.
“Little Saints offers a fun and safe learning environment to enhance all areas of a child’s social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development. Children will be learning important basic skills while having lots of fun,” she said.
The preschool setting also provides students in LBWCC’s child development program opportunities to interact with young children and observe the benefit of developmentally-appropriate practices.
Little Saints Preschool is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8 a.m. until noon, for fall semester, running Aug. 28 through Dec. 6, 2019. It is open to all children ages 3 to 5. Cost for the preschool is $160 per semester with two payment options available.
“The open house is the perfect opportunity for the parent and child to see the classrooms and activity areas, and learn first-hand how the program benefits children in this age range.”
