BEAUTY LOU AND THE COUNTRY BEAST Performance

Audiences of all ages will get a fresh look at an old favorite this Saturday, August 8, 2026, when the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) and more than 30 local students present BEAUTY LOU AND THE COUNTRY BEAST.  Directed by MCT Tour Actor/Director Halle Ortego, this is a show you won’t want to miss!

Our performance includes young actors from all over Covington County.  Featured as Young Beauty Lou will be Charlie Mills. Older Beauty Lou will be played by Isbella Smith.  The Younger Daughters will be played by Kennedy Tucker, Hadley McDaniel, Ramsie Pettus, Riley Pettus, Lily Jones & Allie Grace Page.  The Older Daughters will be played by Alice Rogers, Reagan Clark, Kamdyn Boyett, Pearson King, Emory Gibson & Ellisyn Gibson. 

Imaginary Friend will be played Emma Sightler. Beast will be played by Kimbro Foreman.  Dusty and Slim the helpful farmhands will be played by Bella Bridger & Trinity O’Rourke.  Faithful friend Fleabite Clyde, the dog, will be played by Bentley Tucker.

Hoping to win enough money to save the family farm, Buck (played by MCT Tour Actor/Director Madisyn Sallas) sets off for the rodeo and is joined by the rest of the Country Folk played by Jack Padgett, Joseph O’Rourke, Hollyn Boswell, Michael Harper, Ella Jones, Liam Gibson, Darcy Kate Lightsey, Rosemary Rambo, Sabrey Skanes, Henry Tucker and Josiah Bass.

BEAUTY LOU AND THE COUNTRY BEAST will be presented at 10 AM and 12:30 PM at the Martha & Solon Dixon Center for the Performing Arts on the LBW Andalusia campus.  Tickets are $10 for one show and $15 for both shows and are available at the door.
