The Big6: Getting Dressed
Task Definition:
I must get dressed to go to school. I need clothes. Where are my clothes located? How do I find them? Do I need any help?
Information Seeking Strategies:
What clothes do I have? What choices are there? What is clean and ready to wear? What is the weather outside? Which clothes best match what I need today?
Location & Access:
Go to dressers, closets, or the floor under the bed. Evaluate the clothes for dirt, stains, holes, or small creatures.
Use of Information:
Pull out clothes and accessories that have the best chance of making you happy for the day.
Synthesis:
Dress. Put the whole outfit together: shoes, socks, pants, shirt, necklace or chain choker.
Evaluation:
Look in a mirror. How do I look? Do I match? Do I care? Is anything too small or too big? Are my shorts showing?
Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Could I do anything differently that will enhance the dress statement I am making today?
