Transfer Scholarships

Many four-year colleges and universities offer scholarships to students transferring after attending LBW. Students should visit each institution's website to review transfer scholarship offers, details, qualifications, value, and deadlines.

Three partner institutions offer Presidential Transfer Scholarships to LBW students. For students to be considered for these scholarships, they must complete the LBW Presidential Transfer Scholarship and understand the nomination/selection process:

  • Students complete the Presidential Transfer Scholarship Application online at by February 12.
  • Applications are reviewed for credit hour completion and GPA verification.
  • Four-year institutions are notified of our nominations and they select recipients.
  • Students are notified by the four-year institution of selection/non-selection mid-Spring Semester.
