Each year, the LBW Community College Foundation offers scholarships to incoming freshmen and current students. These scholarships are based on the donor's selection criteria, and the award amounts vary. Some but not all LBWCC Foundation Scholarships are based on financial need. To be considered for those scholarships, students should explain any circumstances demonstrating a special financial need for assistance with their college expenses.

Minimum GPA and Enrollment Requirements: Incoming freshmen must have a minimum 75 average. All others must have a minimum 2.5 GPA. This GPA must be verified by the student's official high school or college transcript.

Length and Value: One-year scholarships (in various amounts) for tuition and fees to be divided equally between fall and spring semesters.

Continuation Policy: Students must reapply each year for all LBW scholarships.

Additional Requirements: 

• Students are ineligible to receive a foundation scholarship if they have been awarded any other LBW scholarship/waiver for the 2026-2027 academic year or previously received an LBW scholarship/waiver for two consecutive years.
• If selected, scholarship recipients must write a thank-you letter to scholarship donors. 

The LBWCC Foundation Scholarship deadline is July 5th.
