Workforce Development
The Workforce Development Department provides a broad range of programs, services, and training opportunities for residents in the Butler, Covington, and Crenshaw county areas. The goal of the Adult Education and Workforce Development Division is to offer quality educational programs and services that will meet the changing personal and professional development needs of the community, including employees of local business and industry.
The Workforce Development Department offers a variety of courses, workshops, programs, and other services that are designed for quick skills training, professional development and personal enrichment. Although these courses are non-credit and will not lead to a college degree, certificates are awarded for each completed class. These short-term personal and professional development courses are provided on campus, off campus, and in the workplace.
The Adult Education and Workforce Development Division provide the following services:

**Cancellation and Refund Policy: Enrollment is not official until payment is received. No refunds will be issued after the first course meeting. Students may enroll in Continuing Education courses until the first course meeting if space is available. A cancellation decision will be made for any course that has not met minimum enrollment requirements. If a course does not have sufficient enrollment, the Business Office will issue a refund to those who have registered and paid for the course.
TRAINING FOR EXISTING BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY
Training for Existing Business and Industry (TEBI) includes non-credit courses for a specific skill area offered to the general public, as well as training customized by LBW Community College for the employees of a particular company. Courses may be taught at the work site or on the college campus. Courses are offered at a time and place that is most convenient for the participants.

- Sister Schubert's - Luverne
- South Central Alabama Mental Health - Andalusia
