Saints' Angels
Club Sponsor - Ayida Cumberland
Saints' Angels is an organization formed to support the local community and the college's athletic programs. The Saints' Angels are involved in numerous charity events throughout the community. The club is also responsible for helping with concession stands and fundraising events held by the athletic teams. This group is a great asset to not only LBW's athletic department, but the college in general. Some of the events that the club sponsors and participates in are listed below.
Angels Auction - Half of the money raised is given in a cash scholarship to a LBW transferring sophomore student to an in-state four year institution
Community Christmas - This local event provides gifts and meals to less fortunate children in the local area during the Christmas holidays.
Campus Beautification - Campus wide clean up and revitalization day each semester.
Charity Work - One benefitting charity is chosen each year. In 2010, the group held the "LBW Womanless Beauty Pagent" to help offset medical costs endured by the families of T.J. Fleming and Tyler Rasberry.
Bake Sales - Held as necessary to support the group financially.
