The 2020-2021 season will mark thirty years at the helm of the Saints Baseball program for Head Coach Steve Helms. The Panama City, Florida native is a former standout pitcher for the Huntingdon College Hawks. Throughout Coach Helms' tenure, the Saints baseball program has been one of the most respected programs in the country. Coach Helms picked up his 900th career win during the 2017 season. The program has been to two NJCAA World Series tournaments (2004 & 2009), won the 2004 Alabama Junior College State Tournament, and won the 2009 Div. II Southeast Regional Tournament. Coach Helms was inducted in to the Alabama Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in January of 2015. The program has a long history of players continuing their playing careers at universities and professional levels.
Brandon Ware

The 2020-2021 season will be Brandon Ware's fourteenth season as an assistant coach at LBW. Ware played under Coach Steve Helms during the 2004 and 2005 seasons at LBW. After graduating from LBWCC, Ware transferred to Auburn University Montgomery to continue his education and playing experience. Ware has been a member of three World Series teams. He was a pitcher on LBW's 2004 NJCAA Div. II National Runner-Up team and Auburn University Montgomery's 2006 NAIA World Series team. Ware's third appearance came as a coach with the 2009 LBW team. Coach Ware handles pitching coach duties for the Saints. Brandon was awarded the Alabama Baseball Coaches Association's Community College Assistant Coach of the Year in January 2016.
Charles White

The 2020-21 season will be Coach Charles "Chuck" White's twelfth season as an assistant with the Saints baseball team. Coach White also works full time with the college as an Information Technology Specialist and has worked in the Alabama Community College System for 20 years. Coach White is a Nationally Registered EMT. He is a 2001 graduate of Faulkner State Community College and a 2007 graduate of Faulkner University. He is a veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy and as a Helicopter Rescue Swimmer in the U.S. Coast Guard. Coach White assists with on and off field duties including recruiting, weight and fitness training, injury prevention and treatment, and as a community service liaison.
