Business – Information Technology
The Business-Information Technology area at LBWCC is an integral part of the academic program as well as the career program. We offer many different types of degree programs and workforce readiness certificates. This area includes business, accounting, economics, information technology, and office administration. Some of the fields that students can choose to specialize in are Microcomputer Application Specialist, Networking and Web Development, Medical Office Specialist, and Medical Records and Health Information Technician.
Associate in Arts or Associate in Science (Transfer options)
These degrees are for students who are planning to complete their general education course requirements and pursue a B. S. degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, and Information Technology or some other business related field. Note: Students should see an advisor before their first semester begins to make sure they will be able to complete their degree requirements during the normal course of two years. Also, students should be aware that due to limited course offerings some courses may not be offered every semester.
