    Academic Division

    Business-Information Technology/Social Science Division

    The Business-Information Technology/Social Science Division offers courses in Accounting, Business, Economics, Information Technology, Child Development, Criminal Justice, Ethics, Geography, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Religious Studies, and Sociology. Course work in these areas can lead to an Associate of Arts or Associate in Science degree.

    Mathematics and Science Division

    The Mathematics and Science Division offers courses in Biology, Chemistry, Earth Physical Science, Mathematics, and Physics.     Language, Humanities, and Fine Arts Division

    The Language, Humanities, and Fine Arts Division of Lurleen B. Wallace Community College includes the following departments: Art, English, Humanities, Music, Reading, Speech, and Theatre. Each of these disciplines has its own faculty.

    The division offers courses in the college transfer program which leads students to an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree.  These degrees may be pursued on a distance education, day, and/or evening schedule. The division also offers the general education core courses of written composition, humanities, and fine arts for the Associate in Applied Science degree.     Applied Technologies

    The Applied Technologies Division offers instruction in a variety of areas including Automotive Mechanics, Computer Science, Cosmetology, Diesel & Heavy Duty Equipment, Esthetics, Nail Technology, and Office Administration.  Contact Denise Sauls at 334-493-5328 for more information.

    Advanced Manufacturing

    The Advanced Manufacturing Division offers courses leading to degrees or certificates in the following areas relating to manufacturing:  Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Industrial Electronics, and Welding.  Contact Allen Teel at 334-493-5388 for more information.

    Nursing

    The Nursing Division offers courses leading to degrees or certificates in the areas of Practical Nursing and LPN/RN Mobility. For more information contact April Wise at 334-493-5377.

    Allied Health

    The Allied Health Division offers courses leading to degrees or certificates in the following areas: Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and Surgical Technology. Contact Wayne Godwin at 881-2210 for more information.
