Testing Services

The Compass Placement Test is required for all entering students without proof of exemption. 

Exemption: 

Documented ACT scores of 20 or higher in English, math, reading

Accepted transferable credit in English, math, reading from an accredited postsecondary institution
 

2011-2012 COMPASS Placement Testing Schedule

Testing for the General Education Diploma (GED) is offered on the Andalusia, Greenville, and MacArthur campuses.  Students must make reservations with his/her desired testing location.  The cost of the test is $50.00.  A student is only allowed to take the GED a maximum of three times within a calendar year.  Students age 17 MUST present  notarized parental permission,  notarized documentation from the school of offical withdrawal, a picture ID, and social security card at testing.  Individuals 18 or older must present a picture ID and social security card at testing.  (Admission WILL NOT be granted without proper documentation.)
