Bookstore Policies

 

TEXTBOOK PURCHASES (Spring 2011 Semester Book List)
Students may purchase books anytime during the semester during regular bookstore hours. Books/supplies may be charged to student financial aid if authorized by the Financial Aid Office. All tuition and fees must be cleared prior to any charging of books/supplies to student financial aid. Charging of books/supplies against financial aid will be limited to specific posted dates.
 

BOOKSTORE HOURS AND TEXTBOOK BUYBACK SCHEDULE

 
During final exam days, the Bookstore will buy back specific textbooks. Textbooks considered for buy back is at the discretion of bookstore personnel. Textbooks which are no longer being used or damaged textbooks will not be eligible for buy back. Textbooks sold with access codes that have to be replaced to be resold will be eligible for buyback at a discounted rate. Students may receive 50% of the new or used price for each textbook that is sold to the bookstore; however, less may be given depending on the book’s condition.

SUMMER SEMESTER 2012 TEXTBOOK INFORMATION


TEXTBOOK REFUNDS
Full refunds will be given for new books only if the books are returned in an unused condition. Purchased used books are refunded at the purchase price. Receipts are required for all refunds. A refund credit will be issued to the student’s account which may be applied to a future purchase of books/supplies. A check will be issued to the student by the Business Office for any unused credit. Allow two weeks for processing of a refund check.
 

ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIP BOOK POLICY
Students receiving books on athletic scholarships must return their scholarship books at the end of the term during final exams. This includes all textbooks, study guides, and solutions manuals. Students not complying will be placed on Bookstore Processing Hold which will place a hold on transcripts, registration, grades, and student payments. This will prevent a student from being allowed to register for the following term. The student must pay for any books not returned or damaged, in any manner.
