Mu Alpha Theta


Mu Alpha Theta is an organization that promotes scholarship in and enjoyment of mathematics among junior college students. Students must have a B average in all college work and have made at least a B in college algebra or above to be invited to join Mu Alpha Theta. High school students who are already members of Mu Alpha Theta may have their membership transferred to the LBWCC organization. The major function is to offer an annual math tournament in February. Mu Alpha Theta has a "once a member, always a member" policy.
