Continuing Education Class
**Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Enrollment is not official until payment is received. No refunds will be issued after the first course meeting.
Students may enroll in Continuing Education courses until the first
course meeting if space is available. A cancellation decision will be
made for any course that has not met minimum enrollment requirements. If
a course does not have sufficient enrollment, the Business Office will
issue a refund to those who have registered and paid for the course.
SPECIAL INTEREST CLASSES
LBWCC offers a variety of short-term, non-credit, low-cost special
interest courses for all ages. These courses are designed to meet the
needs of the communities within LBWCC's service area. Examples of
special interest courses include: Yoga, Aikido, Beginner Computer, Cake
Decorating, Basic Electrical Wiring, Hunter Education, and Boating

Basic Welding for Farm and Home
offers a variety of programs designed to provide professional
development opportunities for nurses and other healthcare professionals
and to assist them in obtaining continuing education units to maintain
licensure. LBWCC is an approved continuing education provider for the
Alabama Board of Nursing (ABNP 1187 effective dates: 10/10/2013 to
10/10/2016). Also, we are an authorized provider of CPR and ECC courses

partnership with ed2go. These short-term, high-quality, non-credit
courses offer well-crafted lessons, expert online instructors and
interaction with fellow students. Whether your interest is the business
world, arts and languages, accounting, technology, law, health care, or a
number of other areas, these courses allow access 24/7 from anywhere

**LBWCC's On-Line Course (ed2go) Refund Policy
You have the opportunity to review a detailed course syllabus
as well as view a demonstration lesson prior to registering for a
course. You are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity so
that you feel certain the course contains the information you want and
need prior to registration.
Any student enrolled in ed2go courses who wish to drop a course after
enrollment of the course must explain in writing his or her
dissatisfaction with the course to receive a refund. Written refund
request must be submitted to LBW Community College, Attn: Jennifer Hall,
by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org, by
mail at PO Drawer 910, Opp, AL, 36467, or by fax (334) 493-5395. The
request must be received within 14 days after the start date of the
course. Failure of the student to drop the course in conformity with
these policies shall nullify ed2go and LBWCC's obligation to pay the
refund. In no event shall a student entitled to drop a course and claim
a refund after ed2go certifies or provides proof of the student's
successful completion of the course.
