The 2012-2013 season will be the first season for Coach Candace Tucker with the LBWCC Lady Saints Softball program.  Coach Tucker is an alumni of Troy University where she hold a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work.  She is currently in the process of of completing her Master's work in Social Science and History education.  While attending Troy University, Candace played four years on the Trojan softball team under Coach Melanie Davis.  She was a member of the All Sun-Belt Academic Team and awarded the "Trojan Spirit" team award.

After finishing her playing career at Troy, Tucker returned to Straughn High School and served as an Assistant Varsity Coach and Head Junior Varisty Coach for the last five years.
