Computer Facilities

 

The Information Technology area has over 500 Intel Pentium IV and above microcomputers. These computers are located in one of 19 different laboratories at our 4 locations. All lab computers are networked with Internet access and the buildings at all four locations have wireless access for student and community use. 
 

Andalusia Campus:

The Andalusia campus has 5 instructional labs, one of which is an open lab. This lab is located in the Jeff Bishop Student Center Building(SC112) and is the only open lab that is available for student use. All other labs are for instruction. The open lab hours are:

  • Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM until 6:30 PM

  • Friday from 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM

  • After 6:30 PM students can use the Library for computer access
     

Greenville Campus:

The Greenville campus has 2 instructional labs. None of these labs are considered open labs but students are given access to the instructional lab in the student building, room (S21). The hours are:

  • Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM

  • Friday 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM

MacArthur Campus:

The MacArthur campus has 11 instructional labs. None of these labs are considered open labs but students have access to all of these instructional labs. The hours are:

  • Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

  • Friday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

  • After hours students have access to the Computer Science Lab and the Nursing Lab.

Luverne Center:

The Luverne Center has one instructional lab. This lab is not considered an open lab but students have access to the instructional lab. The hours are:

  • Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

  • Friday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

None of the instructional labs are supervised. All instructional labs have policies and procedures that must be followed. Click on the following link to obtain a copy of the Information Technology
