Welcome to the Lurleen B. Wallace Community College Blackboard Information page. This page will guide you through all of the necessary information needed before beginning any distance education course. 
 

Blackboard Learning System CE 8.0 is the course management system used for distance learning courses at Lurleen B. Wallace Community College. The primary reason for having this site is inform the student of the Blackboard platform, and provide valuable information about the product as well as the technical information you will need to see that your computer system is capable of running Blackboard CE 8.0. Please review the links below. Make sure that your system is compatible with the information in the links provided below. If not you may need to update some of your programs or possibly install new programs not currently loaded on your computer. Once you have reviewed the links and made changes as necessary this should ensure that you are ready to begin any distance education course at LBWCC.

Blackboard Downloads - This gives a list of additional software (plug-ins) that may be necessary for using the course materials in Blackboard

Blackboard Student Forms - forms needed for proctoring through Blackboard

Please open and print the document Proctor Guidelines before opening either of the forms below. This document explains the guidelines for obtaining acceptable proctors.
