Training for Existing Business and Industry

Training for Existing Business and Industry (TEBI) includes pre-customized, non-credit training for a specific workforce profession offered to the general public, as well as training customized by LBW Community College for the employees of a particular business and industry or individual professional development. Courses may be taught at the worksite or on the College campus. Courses are offered at a time and place that is most convenient for the participants.

Examples of pre-customized training for business and industry courses include: Medical Coding, American Heart, health related courses, Cosmetology, and EPA Certification for HVAC Technicians.

Customized training has been provided for the following businesses and industries:  SMART Alabama, LLC - Luverne, Shaw Industries, Inc. - Andalusia, Connector Manufacturing - Greenville, Sister Schubert's - Luverne, and South Central Alabama Mental Health - Andalusia.
