Abbie Ballew

My name is Abbie Gardner Ballew. I was born and raised in Greenville, Alabama. I graduated from Troy University with a double major in Biology Education and Health Education in 2004.

While attending Troy, I was a part of many social and honor societies, as well as a majorette in the Sound of the South Marching Band.

After graduating, I taught science at McKenzie High school for five years, where I was honored to be named the secondary teacher of the year for the 2008-2009 school year.

During my time at McKenzie, I received my master's in Biology Education from Troy University (2007).

My Husband Brad and I currently reside in Greenville with our two children: Bryant, who was born in May of 2008, and Julia, who was born in February of 2010.
