Academic Division

 

Business-Information Technology/Social Science Division
The Business-Information Technology/Social Science Division offers courses in Accounting, Business, Economics, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, Ethics, Geography, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Religious Studies, and Sociology. Course work in these areas can lead to an Associate of Arts or Associate in Science degree.  Contact James G. Math & Science Division
The Math and Science Division offers courses in Biology, Chemistry, Earth & Physical Science, Forestry Technology, Mathematics, and Physics. Coursework in these areas can lead to an Associate in Arts, Associate in Science or, in the case of Forestry, an Associate in Applied Science degree. Language & Humanities Division
The Language & Humanities Division provides instruction in English, Reading, Speech and Spanish. Coursework in these areas can lead to an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree. Contact Kristy White at 334-881-2246 for more information.

 

Fine Arts Division
The Fine Arts Division provides instruction in Art, Music, and Theatre Arts. Course work in each of these areas can lead to an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree. The faculty in this division are responsible for LBWCC Art Program, LBWCC Ensemble, and LBWCC Drama. Scholarships are available for talented students in each of these areas by contacting James G. Applied Technology
The Applied Technology Division offers instruction in a variety of areas including Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Automotive Mechanics, Diesel &Heavy Duty Equipment, Industrial Electronics, Upholstery & Design Technology, Welding, Accounting, Office Administration, and Information Technology. Nursing

The Nursing Division offers courses leading to degrees or certificates in the areas of Practical Nursing and LPN/RN Mobility.  For more information contact Nancy Smith at 493-5375.

 

Allied Health

The Allied Health Division offers courses leading to degrees or certificates in the following areas:  Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Surgical Technology, and Therapeutic Massage. Contact Seth Ard at 493-5381 for more information.

High School Academic Tournaments

Instructional Divisions sponsor the Business, Social Science, Mathematics, and Language & Fine Arts Tournament and the Social Sciences Tournaments for high school students in February and March each year.For more information contact the respective division chair.
