Basic Cake Decorating in Andalusia
LBW Community College in Andalusia will offer a “Basic Cake Decorating” course on Tuesdays, 6-8 p.m., Dec. 4 and Dec. 11, 2012. Classes will be held in the Student Center on the Andalusia Campus.
This course will include a demonstration of basic tools to begin cake decorating, including how to level and ice cakes. Students will also learn how to make borders, grass, roses and write with icing. No experience necessary.
The registration fee for this two-week course is $25 per participant. In addition to the course fee, each participant will need to pay a supply fee of $5 on the first night of class to cover icing and materials provided by the instructor.
Space is limited. Students may register in person in the Student Services office Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. or Friday, 8 a.m. – Noon. Although no book is required, each student will need to supply their own personal icing tools.
