10-hour OSHA training in Greenville
This three-day course will be held in the Mitchell Conference Center from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. each evening Oct. 23-25, 2012.
In order to allow adequate time for student instruction and questions, instructional time is scheduled for 12 classroom hours and meets the minimum 10-hour OSHA requirement.
This training program is intended to provide entry level general industry employers and employees information about how to identify, abate, avoid and prevent job related hazards on a job site.
In addition to OSHA Standards, the training covers a variety of general industry safety and health hazards which employers and employees may encounter. Training will emphasize hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention -- not just OSHA standards.
Students who successfully complete the course will be awarded a certificate and will be eligible to request the OSHA 10-Hour General Industry wallet card from The Georgia Institute of Technology OTIEC.
Course fee is $125 per participant, the book is optional and can be purchased at LBWCC in Greenville.
Space is limited. Enrollment is not official until payment is received. Students may register in person at any location of LBWCC in the Student Services office Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., or Friday, 8 a.m.-Noon.
