Hunter Education Course
LBW Community College-Luverne Center, Continuing Education Division, is partnering with the Alabama Game and Fish Division to offer "Hunter Education Field Day" on Nov. 3, 2012, 8 a.m.-Noon, on-site at 886 Glenwood Road in Luverne.
Successfully completing an approved hunter education course is mandatory for all non-supervised hunting license buyers born on or after Aug. 1, 1977, except APOST certified law enforcement officers employed in the state, active duty U.S. Military personnel and Alabama residents who are active members of the U.S. National Guard.
Participants must pre-register online with the Alabama Game and Fish Division at www.outdooralabama.com/hunting/education by completing the online exam and printing the certificate to bring to the Field Day event on Nov. 3. Upon successfully completing Field Day, participants will receive their Alabama Hunter Education Program certification card.
There is no charge to attend this course or for the certification examination. Participants must present their social security card and be at least 10 years old to attend and receive certification.
