Mini-Grant sponsors Roads Scholar

LBW Community College recently hosted an Alabama Humanities Roads Scholar speaker on the Greenville Campus, thanks to the college’s Mini-Grant Program funded by the LBWCC Foundation and the MacArthur Foundation. Area high school students and community members joined college students and faculty to hear Dr. Richard Anderson, professor emeritus of English at Huntingdon College, present “Simon and Pap and Huck and Jim:  Alabama Influences on the Fiction of Mark Twain.” Pictured are, from left, Mollie Waters, instructor of English, speech and theater; Anderson; and LBWCC Vice President Dr. Jim Krudop, Greenville campus director.
