MacArthur Foundation event successful


The MacArthur Foundation successfully raised more than $17,500 in scholarship funds with the second annual Scholarship Clay Shoot held Sept. 29, 2012, at Shoal River Sporting Clays in Crestview, Fla.

Winning first place was the Southeast Alabama Gas District team of Randy Castleberry of Andalusia; Terry and Peige Josey of Red Level; and Keith Higgins of Mobile.

Second-place was earned by the MSJ Trucking team of Jack Armstrong, Bo Dillard, W.D. Underwood, and Brad Mack.

The third-place team was Alabama Aerospace Manufacturing composed of Travis Lee of Wing; Wes Ard and Justin Lawson, both of Baker, Fla.; and Trey Cunningham of Crestview, Fla.

Terry Josey of Red Level, long bird competition winner, graciously donated his winnings to the Tracy Bundrick Memorial Scholarship.

Robert Young of Opp won a shotgun partially donated by Andy Sekler of Panhandle Shooting Sports.
